Backpack Broadcasting is a website that provides the people with the best in one-man band journalism. The channel currently produces packages and reports covering sports teams in the NYC metro area, along with news and music feature pieces. Backpack Broadcasting was created to give power back to the people in journalism. It allows one-man band journalists to create their own stories and report on news the way they see it.

Dexter Henry is a Brooklyn born and raised, multi-talented sports journalist. Dexter obtained a B.A. in Media Communications after graduation from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005 and has over five years of experience in sports journalism both in broadcast and print media. He has written for the Brooklyn View, New York SportsScene Magazine, the Canarsie Courier, NYCHoops.net and RedStormReport.com. Dexter currently serves as a videographer/sports reporter for CineSport.com, CBSSports.com and Giants.com also while serving as a contributing writer to ProspectHeightsPatch.com.

    we now live in the D.C. area.
